We don’t celebrate Thanksgiving here, but I thought it’s a nice thing to say all the things you are thankful for every once in a while. Thinking on things I’m thankful for I realized I have a pretty good life after all so being thankful is the way to go. So here’s what I’m thankful for.
I’m thankful for how the Web has accelerated serendipity and improved so fast that it allows us to connect with people around the world in real time.
I’m thankful for that because this last year I’ve found a myriad of awesome people.
I’m thankful for twitter because it has allowed me to find old friends from school and reconnect with them. It also helped me find a job (thanks Mel Kirk for trusting me)
I’m thankful for twitter because it was a huge discovery tool. It’s where I discovered Tara Hunt’s blog that made me buy her book and use it as reference for my work at university and as a guide for doing my business.
I’m thankful for ‘meeting’ Tara Hunt (the quotations will go away as soon as I meet her in person). I don’t know if she knows but as she says Social Networks accelerate serendipity and through her I found about Coworking, which is a project I’m looking forward to execute this coming 2010. Besides that through her I found lot’s of awesome people that lead to more awesome people.
I’m thankful for my two friends and business partners because they’re there kicking ass for us to succeed.
I’m thankful for almost failing because it has taught me lot’s of lessons.
I’m thankful for my family …for the crazy part that teaches me that life is not always good and for the awesome part that teaches me there is still lot’s of good in the world.
I’m thankful for the iphone because I can have the internet all around.
I’m thankful for all the laughs I got from mocking my friend that looks like Hiro Nakamura from Heroes.
Finally I’m thankful because someone is reading what I’m thankful for.
What are you thankful for?
